Karingal turns 60 in 2012

Next year Karingal will celebrate its 60th year and the organisation is planning a number of activities to commemorate the occasion throughout the year.
A new history book about the organisation is now being researched and written for release in 2012.
There are also a number of other activities planned, including a gala dinner on March 23 which will not only celebrate the 60 year milestone, but see the Karingal Foundation launched.
Other activities include the planting of roses at Karingal sites to celebrate the special year and all Karingal events next year with be themed to recognise the anniversary – including Karingal Karnivale on March 16 as well as the Big Night Out.
