MatchWorks and SupportWorks win new business in Geelong and Melbourne

Geelong-based employment organisations MatchWorks and SupportWorks have won a substantial share of new business through Job Network, Work for the Dole and Disability Open Employment Scheme Contracts it was announced today by Dr Sharman Stone, Minister for Workforce Participation.
The Contracts are part of the outcomes of the Employment and Related Services 2006-2009 tendering process.
MatchWorks will open new Job Network branches in Airport West and Moonee Ponds and has been contracted to deliver Work for the Dole services from Geelong, Corio, Torquay, Werribee, Footscray, Bacchus Marsh, Sunshine and St Albans. Funding has also been awarded to MatchWorks to deliver additional Personal Support Programme services in Geelong.
SUPPORTWORKS will be expanding its services into Melbourne after being awarded contracts to deliver Disability Open Employment in the West and North West of Melbourne. These will be delivered from co-located MatchWorks and SupportWorks branches across the north and west of the city.
All contracts will come into effect from 1 July this year.
